Minecraft is finally here!

Well, maybe not "finally" here, because it's been around for quite a while, but now it's out in its full glory.

Yes, the complete version of Minecraft is here and now it costs a few euros more! Minecraft finally coming out of beta and into the hard world of complete full games heralds a new age for me and my Minecraft life. The amount of changes the Mojang team had lined up for the release was monstrous, and a good thing they did! The game had been in the same beta phase for months before the final version was released.

Now I don't want to beat a dead horse here, because I'm sure this topic has been talked about many times in the past, but the speed at which the Mojang team rolls out updates is glacial. No joke here, but the amount of content against the amount of time in development is rather shabby. This isn't something that detracts for the game in any way for me, but it would be a bit nicer to get updates in a more constant flow.

Considering these days notch is more of an official mod developer rather than the biggest modder for Minecraft. There are many different modders out of there all putting out loads of good content for the game, a lot of it which is better than the actual updates themselves. Unfortunately, there is no official modding support for the game yet, which is sad as it isn't very likely your mod will work in newer game versions when they are released. This means you will not be able to either update or play your mod until it has been patched to the newest Minecraft version.

Anyway, this is just my two cents that I thought I'd put up on the internet. Maybe I'll write another, we'll see. Anyway, that's it for now, so I'll cya later.
